 I can give you an account on my !OpenSolaris box if you want. That's not a
 problem. It will be a lot faster than fulvia.

 I've created a version of ATLAS that does not build liblapack.so. I've
 '''not''' overwritten the one in my ''patches'' subdirectory, but put this
 in my home directory on boxen. Hence this can be found at

 http://boxen.math.washington.edu/home/kirkby/atlas-3.8.3.p13.spkg # does
 NOT build liblapack.so

 whereas the other one, which build liblapack.so is at

 http://boxen.math.washington.edu/home/kirkby/patches/atlas-3.8.3.p13.spkg
 # DOES build liblapack.so
