Comment(by cremona):

 Following the detailed instructions in the ticket description, starting
 with a fresh build of 4.5.3.alpha0, I successfully installed the three
 spkgs (with SAGE_CHECK='yes') and both patches (sagelib and extcode) with
 no issues -- except that when I tried to install the lcalc spkg, it said
 "already installed", which I do not really understand. Jeroen?

 Then, sage -tp 10 -long passed everything! So the rebase to 4.5.3.alpha0
 is fine.

 elliptic_curves/ell_rational_field.py: I checked that the new output from
 the doctest is as valid as the old one (there is just a slightly different
 LLL-reduced basis, which is a reasonable side-effect of changes to the
 pari library which does the LLL reduction).

 I am uploading an extra little patch fixing that. Which just leaves
 heegner,py.
