 For the record, I built Sage on a Sun Blade 1000, with 2 GB RAM and two
 UltraSPARC III+ processors. Unlike the T2 PLUS CPUs in 't2,math', ATLAS
 has the tuning parameters for these older processors, so does not need to
 go through the tuning process. Hence I assume (though may be wrong), that
 ATLAS will build the say way each time I build it. Anyway, all tests
 finally passed.

 So I don't think we have introduced any problems - ATLAS probably just had
 a bad day on t2!
