 If so, you could try reinstalling the PARI package with
 {{{PARI_EXTRA_OPTS="--graphic=auto"}}} or e.g. {{{X11}}}; best once with
 X11 development files present, and once in addition without (a functional)
 {{{xmkmf}}}. (I don't know what X11 [development] packages !OpenSolaris
 provides.) :-)
