The problem John ran into was just the (old) Sun linker not understanding
{{{-soname}}}; the GNU linker and (I think) newer versions of the Sun
linker understand both {{{-h}}} and {{{-soname}}}, so setting
{{{SAGESOFLAGS}}} to {{{"-shared -Wl,-h,libcliquer.so"}}} as mentioned
earlier should work on SunOS regardless of the linker.
