Thanks for catching it!
Fortunately, I still believe that `image_cone` is correct, but I have
tracked down two "degenerate case" bugs: #10237 (I have fixed it and it is
sufficient for this ticket to work correctly) and #10238 (which I have
left for you ;-)).
