Joris,
1) Possibly we can put the class into the folder
"elementary_differential_geometry". In the same folder we will put the
classes of curves in R^2 and R^3.
2) I agree that we can compute the principal curvatures and the principal
directions via the shape operator, in fact you are right, in this way we
can deal with the case of the equal principal curvatures.
Also, I agree that the code is good and is almost ready. Just now I get
mistakes when applying the last patch, however I think I will manage with
it in few days.
Joris, happy new year to you, wish you health and good luck, and thank you
for your support which plays the crucial role in the development of the
class.
