#10822: sage -sh doesn't work on OSX

At first I thought it was peculiar to zsh, but then in my example above I
tried it with bash, so it's not particular to zsh on my computer.
Can you try the following simple test?

bash-3.2$ PATH='.';export PATH
bash-3.2$ /usr/libexec/path_helper -s
PATH="/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/git/bin:/usr/texbin:/usr/X11/bin:.";
export PATH;
}}}
Do you see "." at the end or the start of PATH in the output of
path_helper?
