It will happen at least in sage-on-gentoo as we are following the system
python.
I have a couple of things in our tree to fix problems with python-2.6.5
and 2.6.6
we are looking into 2.7 now. I should post any patch to have it working
here.
We are not talking about using the new capabilities just porting, I
imagine my
counterpart in Mandriva does the same.
