Nice idea! But the error is the same.
I'm not even sure this is a !PolyBoRi problem per se. The activity
monitor shows that there is still a fair amount of RAM left during this
process, and while the CPU is being intensely used, the highest level of
use is the unzipping, and otherwise it's not really different from other
things.
My very rough guess at this point is that we may want to try setting the
optimization level down a bit here, but I don't know how to do that.
