 I've changed the patch a little bit just now, by the way.

 To apply the patch, go to `devel/sage/` inside your sage directory, and
 type `sage -hg qimport http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/raw-
 attachment/ticket/11309/trac_11309-fix-comparison-of-comparisons.patch`,
 type `sage -hg qpush`, type `sage -b`, and finally launch sage to test the
 patch!

 Your examples are fixed, yes. You can see them listed inside the patch,
 where I added some more examples in the documentation of the function I
 changed.
