P.S.: It would perhaps be convenient to either have a testing distribution
or at least a Sage (library) package with the patch here applied, since
during the automatic rebuild of dependent packages Sage switches back to
the "main" branch and may invalidate an already applied patch. The
behavior seems to have meanwhile changed a bit though.
