I had to rebase the first patch against sage-4.7.1.rc1. I had a typo in my
previous post: The old patch was relative sage-4.7.rc2, not 4.7.1.rc2.
Apply trac10296_singular_overhead.patch trac10296_expect_on_nonlinux.patch
By the way: It still needs review...
