Comment(by SimonKing):

 With the old version of the M4RI and M4RIE patches, I got some doctest
 errors on mark (which is solaris):
 {{{
         sage -t  -force_lib "devel/sage/sage/rings/polynomial/pbori.pyx"
         sage -t  -force_lib
 "devel/sage/sage/rings/polynomial/multi_polynomial_sequence.py"
         sage -t  -force_lib "devel/sage/sage/plot/plot.py" # Time out
         sage -t  -force_lib
 "devel/sage/sage/crypto/mq/mpolynomialsystem.py"
         sage -t  -force_lib "devel/sage/sage/crypto/mq/sr.py"
         sage -t  -force_lib
 "devel/sage/sage/schemes/elliptic_curves/ell_rational_field.py" # Time out
         sage -t  -force_lib
 "devel/sage/sage/schemes/elliptic_curves/heegner.py" # Time out
 }}}

 I need to investigate it further.
