What? Then why does it work (at least for me) with sage-4.7.1.rc1?
So, homework for me: Build sage-4.7.2.alpha1.
I just noticed that this patch comes ''after'' #9138 in my private patch
queue. #9138 makes all rings use the category framework, and the
`__getattr__` method we are dealing with here is related with the category
framework. Could you test whether the segfault vanishes if you first have
#9138?
