You could also try the
[http://boxen.math.washington.edu/home/leif/Sage/release/sage-4.7.2.alpha3-prerelease/sage-4.7.2.alpha3-prerelease.tar
current alpha3 prerelease], which I think won't change much more, and
already contains #11342 and #9138. On top of almost all patches, I've
applied #11749, which makes changes to almost every file of the Sage
library.
