The attached patch was created on top of sage-4.7.2.alpha3-prerelease. I
suppose that it will also apply on top of the official sage-4.7.2.alpha2.
The alpha3 tests pass modulo some numerical errors. I suppose that they
are noise, unrelated with my patch.
Hence, needs review!
