make ptestlong passes on sage.math! However, it's likely that different
people will see different crashes/bugs on different machines (I know that
Volker has a different one on his machine). The reason is: the garbage
collector may randomly change the currRing (because of #11339). The fix is
to add rChangeRing() before whichever Singular function is called and
crashes. As far as I understand it, there shouldn't be a Python functionc
all between rChangeRing() and the function for which it is done, because
those could trigger the gc.
