Yes!!
When I use a cache for `category_of`, we have

sage: E = J0(46).endomorphism_ring()
sage: %time g = E.gens()
CPU times: user 5.54 s, sys: 0.19 s, total: 5.74 s
Wall time: 5.75 s
}}}
and at least this instance of a regression has gone! I don't know how much
of it is due to the fact that I also have #11115 applied, but let me first
finish the patch and then we'll see.
