 I have seen your patch in #11986 that's a good rewrite of the hashing in
 question, the -1 bit is particularly tricky. I mentioned it before but we
 probably need a different approach for
 combinat/words/nfactor_enumerable_word.py, the sequence is pretty much
 random depending on arch and other factors it seems. The randstate.pyx
 must have escaped
 [http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/attachment/ticket/9958/trac_9958
 -fixing_numericalnoise-part4.patch] because the test results are identical
 to some performed later in the same file. I'll correct that shortly.

 The suffix_trees.pyx rings a bell but I cannot remember where and when.
