 Thank you! Yes, I'd prefer it that way. Having the ring buffer means
 modifying coerce_dict.pxd, which essentially means recompiling almost the
 whole Sage library, and that takes almost an hour on my laptop. So, it is
 better for me to not switch back and forth between #715 and #12313.
