Well... Waiting for the garbage collector to do its job seemed to be the
cause of the memory blowups reported (though it looks like they have been
updated since and that this patch does not fix it `:-ppp`). Well, this
patch still is useful though, what do you advise we should do with it then
? It's still waiting for a review `:-)`
