For the record: I've updated the !LinBox spkg at #12762, now also adding
an `spkg-check` script; the test suite wouldn't have built with GCC 4.7.0
(even with `-fpermissive`) [nor with 4.6.3], so I patched some upstream
files in addition, and changed the "disable commentator" patch.
