There's a new eclib-2012-04-15.tar.gz which fixes the problem with the
div() function, could you check that?
It does not yet address the new points you raised. I did have a check for
NTL and pari but removed them for some reason; I can put them back with a
gmp check. There must be a limit to how far we go to be nice the the
user, though: personally I think it is fine to have written down
somewhere: "you need to have a working pari and NTL installation" and let
the user make sure that they have that and configure properly. But while
I am working on this and have not forgotten how to do these things...
