There is a function `quit_sage` in sage.all. The first thing it does is to
quit all sage interfaces.
If one prepends it with a garbage collection, then the problem vanishes.
It would not help to move quitting the interfaces to the very end of
quit_sage().
So, question: Is an explicit garbage collection an option?
