There were errors in {{{REFERENCES:}}} formatting which made sphinx
unhappy. Pathetically unhelpful warning messages from sphinx, I must say,
akin to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphinx Sphinx] riddles...
Fixed. Please review.
