I would love the previous behavior as well, but I just want to make sure
that Jonathan's concerns are at least partially addressed. Maybe we could
raise some kind of warning?
I wish some other people would have commented at the time; we raised this
on sage-devel as well as on the relevant ticket, if I recall correctly,
and there was little response. I felt like my voice was the only one for
the original behavior, and I was very hesitant to override a change due to
a technical failing on the vote of one person.
