Then: see [attachment:failing_test_under_gdb.py].
That's not the entire file, so even if you run this through python and not
get a SEGV, that doesn't show anything. Since the GDB problem and SEGV are
likely independent, you may well have cut out the doctest that generates
the SEGV (or changed the memory conditions under which it runs).
