TINS is highly speculative. The stock price has grown much faster than the underlying commodity that it produces. I don't think the fundamental is that strong, last year profit margin was in the low one-digit-percents, but the market is judging it differently, it seems. Again there are talks about more cutbacks on global supply due to strengthening regulation on unprocessed Tin exports.
The calculation goes: Less supply, Stable and Increasing Demand, Produce Tin locally So in the long run, Timah Tbk. might profit more, IF they are able to mine and process the commodity themselves. Not sure, up for grabs i guess.
