Shareholders of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) have approved in the EGM
today (30/7) the management's proposal to cancel the rights issue plan in order
to implement employee and management stock option plan (EMSOP) as decided in

"We will again propose to hold the rights issue next year," BNI vice president

"Under the allocation program, the bank's president will receive a sum of 7.5
times higher than the monthly salary, the vice president 98% of the president's
portion, directors 90% each of the president's portion, while president
commissioner and vice president commissioner 40% and 38% each of president's
portion," Suwondo said.
On that occasion, the shareholders have approved the appointment of Effendi as
the new independent commisioner and accepted the resignation of Tjahjana
