By Berni Moestafa July 15 (Bloomberg) -- Indonesia's Jakarta Composite index fell 44.69, or 2 percent, to 2,214.85, closing at its lowest since April 9. The following stocks are among the most active in the Indonesian market. Banking stocks: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI IJ), the nation's second-largest bank, dropped 300 rupiah, or 5.5 percent, to 5,200, its sharpest fall since April 1. PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA IJ), the third biggest, slid 175 rupiah, or 6.3 percent, to 2,625, its steepest drop since April 10. Banks contributed the most to the market's decline. The shares fell on concern investors will avoid finance stocks after Cathay Financial Holding Co. and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. disclosed holdings of debt issued by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, the embattled U.S. mortgage lenders. PT Bumi Resources (BUMI IJ), Asia's biggest thermal-coal exporter that seeks to acquire Australia's Herald Resources Ltd., jumped 250 rupiah, or 3.8 percent, to 6,900. Rival bidder PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM IJ) dropped its bid for Herald, allowing Bumi to buy control of Herald. Aneka, Indonesia's second-biggest nickel miner, lost 100 rupiah, or 3.3 percent, to 2,925. PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA IJ), the state-owned coal mining company, rose 250 rupiah, or 1.8 percent, to 14,500. Macquarie Group Ltd. raised the 12-month price targets of Bukit Asam by 23 percent to 25,800 rupiah to reflect an increase in its coal price estimates. PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO IJ), the nation's largest producer of the metal, lost 300 rupiah, or 5.9 percent, to 4,800, closing at its lowest since Aug. 21. Nickel for three- month delivery dropped 3.9 percent to $20,750 a metric ton in London yesterday, the biggest one-day fall since June 18. PT Indosat (ISAT IJ), Indonesia's second-biggest mobile- phone operator, advanced 200 rupiah, or 3.1 percent, to 6,750.
