DJ Indonesia State Gas Firm:'08 Sales May Avg 600M Cubic Feet/Day JAKARTA (Dow Jones)--Indonesian state gas company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara's (PGAS.JK) gas sales volume is likely to average 600 million standard cubic feet a day in 2008, a 42% increase over 2007's average volume of 422 mmscf/d, as its new pipeline between gas-producing South Sumatra province and West Java, where the capital city and main population center Jakarta is located, came onstream this year, the utility said Wednesday.
The forecast increase in volume is, however, a downward adjustment from the company's previous forecast that gas sales would average 716 mmscf/d.
