TINS : Recent developments in the tin industry have benefited PT Timah (TINS).
The
company has not only enjoyed windfall profits from the surge in tin prices, but
is also
gaining more power to influence the global supply, and thus the price of tin on
the
international market. Moreover, with the currently high tin prices, the
company’s
reserves are predicted to see a significant increase. TINS is also making the
right
moves, we believe, as its plans to boost offshore production and expand its
business
Despite the slow revenues growth in 2Q08, Telkomsel has introduced new
marketing initiatives. The positive impact of these initiatives should be
reflected in the 3Q08 results. Early indications suggest a hefty net additions
figure of 3.2mn in July 08. Hence, we remain confident that Telkomsel is on the
right track to recover its position as the market leader. Nonetheless, we have
slightly downgraded our target price to Rp10,800 due to some minor adjustments.
