Dec 10 (Reuters) - Indonesia's domestic car sales, an indicator of consumer demand in Southeast Asia's largest economy, rose 43 percent in November from the some period last year, an association said on Friday.
Car sales in November were 69,249 units versus 48,322 units in November 2009, led by Toyota , Mitsubishi , Daihatsu , Suzuki and Honda , according to data from the Indonesian Automotive Association (Gaikindo). Gaikindo has forecast car sales would grow 48 percent this year to 720,000 units, as strong consumer demand and record low interest rates drive the economy.
