Pak Susanto, Saya tidak mengatakan Fama meninggalkan EMH, melainkan saya bilang Fama mengakui bahwa pasar tidak akan pernah bisa efisien. Info tsb saya baca dari buku Accounting Theory: Research, Regulation and Accounting Practice, karya Michael Gaffikin. Dia menulis: "In 2004 The Wall Street Journal reported that even the 'father of EMH', Eugene Fama, at a conference to honour him held at the University of Chicago, conceded that markets may not be efficient and there may be 'poorly informed investors' who do not act rationally".
Jadi begitu pak. Makanya sampai sekarang namanya tetap EMH, karena memang masih hipotesis, bukan teori. Dan namanya hipotesis itu untuk dibuktikan, bukannya untuk dipercaya. Dan kalau teori adalah 'a confirmed hypothesis', maka bisa disimpulkan kalau sampai sekarang (sudah 40 tahunan) EMH masih bernama EMH, itu berarti memang tidak pernah bisa terbukti adanya pasar yang efisien. Jadi jangan percaya pada EMH pak.
