Menurut Research Analyst PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk (PANS) Purwoko Sartono, kenaikan yang terjadi pada bursa regional tersebut didorong komentar President Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB) Mario Daghi yang menyatakan komitmennya untuk menjaga keutuhan mata uang Euro. "ECB akan melakukan intervensi terhadap pasar surat utang seiring dengan kenaikan yield surat utang Spanyol dan Italy yang mengancam kelangsungan mata uang Euro," kata Purwoko kepada Ipotnews, di Jakarta.
