The new version of the m2eclipse plugin was finally released.  I'll be
trying it out soon and let you know how it goes. 

This version should ease some (but not all) of our maven headaches.
What it should do is automatically pickup your local eclipse projects.
So if you have sail-core and the plr checked out into eclipse.  the plr
will use your checked out version of sail-core automatically.  So you
will no longer have to add the sail-core eclipse project to the plr
build path.

I don't know how it will handle the launch configuration classpaths.

This will probably not solve the corrupted local mvn repository problems
we seen.
