Great Hiroki! I will put together a set of goals and/or milestones for the next 2 months, along with some tasks that I think will be required to achieve those goals. In the meantime, I've started a wiki page with the portal architecture on it. You and Tony should have a look.

Start with those and get a feel for the design. Have a look at the code too if you like (the packages have been created to mostly reflect the different layers so it shouldn't be hard to find stuff). The business tier docs are not there yet, coming soon. Notice the separation of concerns within that tier itself. Please get familiar with Hibernate and Spring as those are the foundations upon which this portal is built. Also, note that I program in very small increments and will often check in code multiple times daily. It would be easier to resolve merges if you try to keep your code up to date as well.
