Thanks for Scott's notes in yesterday's meeting page on how to add
additional jars to the authoring tool launcher:http://
www.telscenter.org/confluence/display/SAIL/Design+Meeting+2007-03-14.
Very useful. I've copied them below and made a few notes just to let
you know I'm following through.

    * note: this is different than what I said at the meeting, the pas-
jnlp project doesn't need to be changed.
    * need to make sure the pas-author-runtime pom has a dependency on
the javahelp
- This is done and checked in, although I haven't checked in the
changes to add the help yet, but I have checked in the pom.xml (March
12, 2007).
    * make sure the pas-author-runtime is correctly building on
continuum
- build #235 which has the pom.xml change seems to be building fine.
    * run the deploy.sh script on tels-develop. (note: this script is
currently broken because of memory issues, scott will send a note to
sail-dev when it is fixed again.)
- I will await your instructions on how to run the deploy script ( I'm
guessing that I may not have access, so perhaps someone else needs to
do something to give me access, or else someone else has to actually
run the script for me).

I will not check in the JavaHelp Example code until the launcher will
work with it.

I have started a wiki page that describes the process I went through
to add javahelp to the authoring tool (it is incomplete). This page
includes a large highlighted section where I may need some help from
someone with JDIC experience. If everyone could have a look at that
section and get back to me if you think you understand what needs to
be done that would be great. I'd be interested in pairing to complete
that piece of the problem.

The wiki page is

Looking forward to any thoughts or follow-up you have on this.

Laurel
