The startup progess bar should now show up much sooner. Previously it did not show up until the after the curnit was downloaded and read in. So if confluence was slow or the curnit was large then there was a long delay with no UI.
During the audit meeting yesterday we discovered that the curnit was being read in much sooner than I had previously thought, so I changed that code to delay its loading.
