Perhaps we are misunderstanding the problem.  But based on what you 
described this seems like the best approach. 

It helps for 2 reasons. 
1. It will narrow down the problem: does the problem happen when the 
model is run directly in MW, or only when it is run inside of the Sail 
runtime.  If it is a problem with MW then we'll ask Charles to work on 
it.   If it is problem only when it is inside of Sail then Aaron, Sam or 
I will work on it.

2. It sounded like you needed a prof to review the model.  If the model 
does work in MW directly then you will have a quick solution to that 
problem.  And in the meantime we can figure out why it doesn't work in Sail.
