I started this page:
http://confluence.concord.org/display/CSP/OTrunk+Jackrabbit

To keep track of stuff I've been doing and want to do to use Jackrabbit
as a backend for OTrunk.

I'm working on a demo that will show how learner data can be stored in
jackrabbit and then a report can be run on that learner data.
The initial version will not be real time. So functionally it won't be
different than what the sds and diy-reporting can do already.

It will allow us to explore the queries required for more efficient
reports. The current sds and diy-reporting requires a application to
download all of the learner data to just show some small part of it.
This is the same thing that the tels-portal has to do for the grading
tool. It has to download the full set of learner data for each learner
inorder to show the students work. But it really only needs part of
this data.

By storing the learner data in a repository the application can send up
a query and download only what it needs.
