I finally got the webdav access to jackrabbit running well enough handle 
storing otrunk learner data.  It does not store the data in real time, 
because there are performance and consistency issues that need to be 
solved before that is possible.

I put together the necessary stuff so brave souls can try running my 
current otrunk jackrabbit demo.

Over the next few days I hope to complete the "next steps" portion of 
that page.   This will result an easier run demo.  Which will then give 
us a learner data structure we can start writing queries on.
