Hi, We had a discussion today about the journal step in pas. Heres what we came up with: http://www.telscenter.org/confluence/display/TCS/Student+Journal+v3.0
we think the "concord multi tool" would be excellent to use for authors to create pages, imbed graphs, datatables etc... we have some initial set of questions: - if the authors of the project created a bunch of pages, would students beable to add pages to that set of their generated content? - would a student beable to insert an image into the question object? we would want to them to have the ability to underline, bold, etc.. then we would need a multitool as part of the question also? - the pages navigation bar - we would want our own custom vertical layout. how feasible would it be to do this? - it seems like there would be one journal step with teacher authored pages and student authored pages - how fesible would it be to have that same instance share at multisteps with in the project? would we be able to directly jump to a certain page on the step? - in molecular workbench steps, datagraph steps, etc throughout the project - we would like the student to use the snapshot tool to capture them and insert a representation into the journal. essentially one otrunk pas step talking another. what types of scafolding would otrunk need within pas to do this? we where looking at one of the LOOPS otml's. it uses "<OTUDLCompoundDoc". how is that different than the one we create in Pas Authoring tool OTCompoundDoc? thanks Tony & Geoff --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAIL-Dev" group.
