I guess that's something else from the manga I'll have to reject, then.
It just doesn't make sense to make them all stay on their separate planets,
for the aforementioned reasons. If that's how things worked, I guess we're
just lucky we live in a dinky little frontier system, or else, with strategy
like that, we'd have been taken out by outside invaders millennia ago :-P .
I'm having a hard time remembering. . . need to watch those eps again, I
guess. . . did the princess appear as vague or shadowy in some way? When
charas are dreaming or having visions of people they don't know, the person
appears vague, i.e. the Messiah in S. Haruka-sama's dream-Michiru was
ethereal, yes, but perfect in every detail. To me, that makes Michiru
someone she knows rather than some mysterious stranger she has to seek out.
About choice or lack thereof, where orientation is concerned. . . I
think I'd have to ask straight people when they made their conscious
decision to be heterosexual, if they think it's all about choice. If such a
thing doesn't exist already, maybe someone can set up a website inviting
anyone and everyone around the world to say whether they thought their
orientation was inborn or a choice, along with the story of how they
"discovered" and came to terms with their orientation, or if they felt they
made a choice, the story of exactly when and how they came to make that
conscious decision. It would be an interesting social experiment ^_^ .
Usagi-tachi is just faster than writing out all their names ^_^ . It's
like shorthand for the mentioned person and the associated group. I think
it's pretty specific, since only the Inners are so strongly associated with
Usagi to be called to mind by that term. I say "Haruka-sama-tachi" for the
Outers, 'cause she's usually thought of as their leader. . . and she's a
goddess and all. . . *folds her up and puts her in my pocket* Er, now, what
was I on about, again? *blink-blinks*
