Thousands of devotees from Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh have come
to Prasanthi Nilayam on their Parthi Yatra. This evening, they presented a
drama by the balvikas children. Bhagawan came for darshan in the chair at 4.45
pm, and as He passed the drama backdrop, interacted with one of the alumni of
the University here who was instrumental in giving shape to the drama. After
Swami came onstage, the drama began at five o'clock. The devotion of the
gopikas and other themes were presented through poems sung by Bhagawan in His
Discourses, with touching Telugu dialogues. Bhagawan was very pleased with
their presentation and blessed one of them with a chain even as the drama was
going on. As the hour-long drama drew to a close, Swami came down from the
stage for group photographs with the participants, and later sent clothes for
distribution among them. Bhajans by the devotees commenced at 6.15 with
prasadam distribution, and Swami accepted Arati twenty minutes later before
returning to His residence in the car.
