There is a proverb in Tamil-"When there is a ripe fruit, why should we choose
the raw one? The lesson behind this proverb is this- "When we can use soft
words why should we utter harsh words? Generally human beings are carried away
by emotions. Emotions rise because of our desires and expectations. When our
expectations do not turn the way we thought, we become excited and falsely
implement somebody as responsible for the failure and start blaming them very
harshly. First of all, we must remember that nothing happens with our wishes
and plan. Every thing is really predecided in the realm of the Divine. But man
has to act, exerting his full capacities and he should not keep quiet,
expecting God to intervene. When we have put forth the best efforts, we may
leave it to God. It is for Him to decide. It may turn either way. But accept
His Will without murmur. Many of the devotees go on complain, that God do not
look at them or angry with them. Nothing is really True. God showers His grace
on all. Inverted pots do not gather even a little bit of water even if there is
a heavy downpour. But upright pots gather all the water that falls inside the
pot. We turn our attention away from God and complains that God do not love us.
Divert the attention that is shown to the worldly achievements and prosperity
towards God. Then we can appreciate the fact that God is impartial and loves
one and All. Sairam, Saisaran.
