Swami was once talking to a gentleman sitting in a wheel chair. Swami commented "No election, no selection but you became "Chairman". It was really a pleasant surprise for the devotee sitting in the wheel chair. Swami's instant wit did not pain him. He was happy to get the attention from Baba and being spoken too. Inwardly also there is a lesson. The man had to meet an accident which resulted in the wheel chair. Swami's grace has saved his life, otherwise he would have perished in the accident. Swami by His grace saved his life and enabled him to come to Puttaparthy and stay there permanantly. Sometime we can call it as a "Blessing in disguise". But for the accident, he would not have taken residence in Puttaparthy. He was fortunate to get the Divine Dharsan every day as well as some pep talks from Swami to boost his confidence.
