No. 'Sat' refers to that which is permanent. Satsang means cultivating the company of the Divine. Where is the Divine? It is within each of us. Satsang means the company of the 'Sat', that is, God. In other words, `good company' means the company of good thoughts and good feelings. So `company' does not refer to individuals.
