Once a Pious man saw the events of His Life unfold before him and as he looked Closer he found out that during some periods where he was very happy, contented and enjoying His Life there were 2 sets of Footprints and then he realised that God was walking beside him and was with him always, He thanked God for being with Him always and being with him during all times in his Life.
How was very happy and thanked God Profusely, Then as he further observed the events of His Life, He found out that During some Moments in his Life there were only one set of Footprints and as he observed closer he found out that those were the darkest periods of His Life, Periods where he had suffered the Most, periods which were of total darkness to him, only filled with Humiliation and Darkness. He cried out to God saying that he had walked with Him and had been with Him only during moments of happiness and that he had deserted him during his darkest days, He questioned God as to what wrong he had done and that he had been a humble servant of him always, He thought that God had deserted him. Then God said " During times Of Happiness I walked with you and beside you side by side, But During moments of Sadness and Darkness those single set of Footprints were mine, It was then that I carried you ". What a wonderful and powerful message that God meaning Bhagawan is always with us, Never will Bhagawan ever be away from us, He is with us always, always carrying us. Om Sai Ram
